Description:Tosoh America, Inc. (TSAM) provides comprehensive centralized business services (Accounting, Finance, HR, IT) to several Tosoh Group companies in the United States. TSAM has an opening available for an Accountant II to be located in Grove City, OH (suburb of Columbus, OH). Familiar with providing service to a manufacturing enviornment is desired.

Duties:• Participate in all aspects of the month-end close including distribution of monthly reports
• Adherence to and application of GAAP to the general ledger
• Individual is responsible for ensuring proper statement and support of balance sheet accounts
• Preparation of the monthly reporting package
• Completion of monthly account reconciliations
• Analyze and interpret results and communicate to management effectively
• Provide support to company management in preparation of budget, forecast and estimate
• Provide detailed variance analysis as required
• Provide inter-company schedules as required
• Assist with administration of annual budget process
• Interface with external auditors
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting required
• 3-5 years directly related experience with general ledger reconciliation and reporting (experience performing these activities in a manufacturing setting is highly desired).
• Well-developed analytical skills
• Team player who is professional, mature, self-directed, and detail oriented
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Word and Outlook).
• Proficient with the use of fully integrated ERP systems (preferably windows based application), with the ability to develop analytical reports.
• Ability to maintain effective systems and processes to meet organizational requirements and internal controls.
• Ability and willingness to contribute as an effective member of various group project teams.
• Strong customer service focus and ability and willingness to deliver on commitments made.
• Highly effective communication, organizational and time management skills.
